Two young men in white dhoti and orange shawl stand behind, one in white with a rudraksha mala and sacred marks on his forehead, the other in orange with a mala, both appearing to chant. A man in a pink patterned garment and white shirt kneels at right, scattering petals and holding a banana, near a brass vessel. Heaps of pink and white flower petals cover the couch and the floor in front. Two young monks stand behind him: one in white dhoti with a white shawl and beaded necklace, the other in orange robes with rudraksha beads, both holding fruit. A man in a white shirt bends forward at right, reaching toward the offerings. Bamboo blinds and a hanging light string are visible in the room. The figure has distinctive long braided hair and a seated, throne-like pose with ceremonial adornments, so this is a person appearance-based candidate seated in the centre, receiving offerings during a devotee visit.2014-07-01A photograph of a pada puja ritual indoors.
