Photograph of a red brick building with a steep tiled roof and a wooden gabled pediment, fronted by a verandah on stone columns. Several people sit on the raised stone platform at the entrance: a man in a red top, a woman in a pink and white garment, and two men in pale shirts on the right. Green shrubs line the base of the building and a palm-like tree stands at the left. A small plaque is set into the brick wall beside the wooden door. The scene looks like an ordinary public building at a heritage site.
