Boys sit cross-legged on mats during a ritual gathering. In the foreground, a boy with a white sacred ash mark across his forehead presses his palms together in anjali mudra with eyes closed, wearing a plaid short-sleeved shirt with a Mickey Mouse patch and a dark mala around his neck. Behind him, a boy in a striped yellow and blue polo with glasses sits with a brass bell and small brass vessels in front of him. Brass lamps, a brass plate with flowers, a brass kalasha-style vessel and a small brass bell lie on the mat, with a deity murti framed in a metal prabhavali at lower left. Other seated people and a bright orange cloth appear in the background.
