A crowded outdoor tented event with pink and white draping overhead. A long table covered in a dark patterned cloth holds stacks of small cardboard boxes and loose paper slips. Several men and women in white shirts and dhotis or saris, some with orange or pink shawls, lean over the table handing out and collecting papers and packets. Others in colourful shirts and orange garments stand in a dense line around the table, and rows of white plastic chairs fill the background under the tent.
