Indoor ritual scene in a home setting. In the foreground, a man seen from behind wears an orange sannyasi robe and holds one hand raised, seated before a spread of brass plates holding fruit, sweets and small dishes, a decorated kalasha-like vessel, and a flower garland with orange ribbon. To the right, women in saris and salwar kameez stand and kneel, several holding grey feathered fans or whisks; one woman in an orange sari is seated and a woman in white and red sits at the center. On the left, a gold deity murti and a decorated altar with garlands and blue and orange cloth. Two visible people are more closely seen, and the remaining figures in the background are partly hidden. A small child in blue stands at the right edge.

In the centre, a man in white kurta bows forward with his forehead near the floor before a low wooden seat draped in orange cloth and decorated with orange and red flower garlands. A small boy in a cream kurta and grey vest stands barefoot beside him. Brass plates hold flower petals, fruit and sweets, and a large white and orange garland hangs at right. Seated to the right is a smiling figure in orange robes with a saffron head wrap and a rudraksha mala. Several women in saris and a man holding a child stand in the background.2008-05-03May 03 20082008-05-03Photo of a crowded devotional gathering in an indoor hall with white draped tables. A man with long dark swept-back hair and an orange sleeveless top stands at right, reaching out his hand toward the head of a seated woman in a pink and white sari. Behind him a shaved-headed man in orange robes holds a small stack of papers. Nearby, a man in an orange robe and a woman in a white sari stand. On the foreground table sit a tray of rudraksha malas, a plate of fruit and flower garlands, and a folded blue cloth. Surrounding devotees in white kurtas, green and white saris, and a braided woman in white stand close together. The probable identity cue is the orange clothing and long hair of the man giving blessings, consistent with the page's a person reference, and the scene reads as darshan with blessings.2008-03-26A photograph of a darshan scene in an indoor hall. A figure with long dark hair and an orange robe, wearing a multi-coloured flower garland, sits in a white chair and places a hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in an orange sari with a long braid. Around them, people in white and light clothing stand with palms pressed together in namaste, and a woman in a yellow shawl stands behind the chair. A white tray holds fruit, sweets and other offerings, and a red curtain hangs in the background. The figure's appearance with long hair, orange robe and garlands fits the page's description of Swamiji, so the figure is a probable Swamiji seated in a darshan blessing, with devotees receiving blessings nearby.2008-03-26April 2008 - Kailaasa In LA EventsMarch 26 20082008-03-26A small boy in a light cream kurta and dark vest stands barefoot on a white cloth, swinging a brass vessel that releases a cloud of smoke or incense toward a seated group.
