Night outdoor ritual photo of a gathered crowd on a gravel ground beside bamboo and a brick wall. Two ornate fringed parasols, one gold and one red-and-yellow, are held up at left. A man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a lit torch with a flame, and beside him a man in white and another in a saffron-orange dhoti stand with palms pressed in namaskar. Women in white, cream and pink saris, and a young child in a blue outfit, stand among devotees in white and saffron clothes. Several participants wear sandalwood or vibhuti marks on their foreheads. The scene appears to be a devotional gathering with a torch and parasols.
