Outdoor stone-carving yard in dry, sunny terrain. A person in a maroon and gold-striped garment with a light sash stands at left, reaching toward a row of pale grey stone statues of standing figures and partially carved pieces. Round stone bases, cut stone blocks and a loose tangle of electrical cords lie on the sandy ground. Stacked bricks, blue shipping containers and distant hills form the background.

Many carved granite and marble pieces lie scattered: round pedestals, lingam-shaped stones, cylindrical bases and large carved slabs. A few men stand near the left side and in the middle; one wears an orange robe and one a bare-chested red-and-gold wrap. Others wear white shirts and white dhotis. Beside them stand a row of white stone blocks topped with white pillars and slabs. Behind them lies a cluster of gilded and painted deity murti and statues on the ground, alongside stacked blue metal rods, tarps and debris. He wears an orange cloth wrap over his shoulder and matching orange garment, with white-clad men and a few onlookers nearby. Several seated and standing stone murtis, including a multi-armed figure and a figure holding a trident-like staff, stand on carved pedestals. A bearded man in a white dhoti and a man in a blue shirt stand at the edges. The scene suggests temple sculpture work or a sculpture yard.2010-01-03December 22 20062006-12-22December 22 20062006-12-22
