A photograph of a seated puja in progress, showing several men with bare upper bodies and white or rust-coloured dhotis. In the foreground a man in a rust-orange cloth with a thick rudraksha bracelet holds a small brass oil lamp, its flame lit. Behind him, another man in white holds a brass lamp, and others sit in a row with candles glowing. On a grey wooden tray are brass kalasha-style vessels, bells, a conch shell, green leaves, a brass plate and small brass dishes, plus a folded pink cloth. Warm lamplight dominates the scene.
