Indoor temple-hall ritual scene under a white draped ceiling with striped colourful decorative pillars trimmed in orange tassels. In the centre a gilded golden palanquin or throne with a red and white umbrella stands before a shrine. Several men in white dhotis and shawls stand around it, one holding a long ceremonial staff and a feathered fan, one wearing a tall ornate crown. Devotees in white stand with palms joined along the sides, and the floor has orange and blue mats with brass plates and offering bowls. The scene appears to be a pooja or procession ceremony with a deity murti on the golden stand.
