A photograph of a long line of people walking along the crest of a raw, reddish-brown earth embankment under a partly cloudy sky. Most wear white garments, and a few figures in orange, saffron and pink or purple saris stand out among them. Scattered green trees, a short utility pole with wires, and a concrete drainage channel lie along the edge, with a low concrete step at right. The scene appears to be a devotional procession or gathering on open ground.
