A photo of a crowd of young men and women in white clothes with orange shawls celebrating with arms raised as multicoloured paper confetti streamers fall through the air. Several painted cylindrical pillars decorated with geometric patterns and animal motifs stand in the background beside dark draped curtains under overhead lights. Most of the crowd is seen from behind, and one woman has a long braid and wears a white sari with orange shawl.

Many devotees in the crowd raise their hands in the air while others clap, and a woman in white with an orange shawl stands in the centre foreground. The scene reads as an energy darshan with devotees responding en masse.2006-12-23December 23 20082008-12-23A dense crowd of devotees fills a tented hall during the Brahmotsava celebration, most with arms raised in joy.
