Night photograph of a large burst of fire and sparks erupting beside a golden palanquin or ratha topped with a dark deity murti. Several figures in orange-red robes walk toward the flames on sandy ground, some carrying long staffs and ceremonial poles with ornamental tops. Strings of coloured fairy lights are visible at the left edge. The bright fire and fireworks-like sparks dominate the frame. A visible portrait or identifiable a person candidate is not clearly present, so no in-person identification is made.
