A photograph of a freshly dug hole in dry reddish-brown earth, with a black hose lying along its left edge. Behind it stand several people's bare feet and lower legs: two in saffron-orange dhotis, one in white dhoti with a gold border, and others in white trousers and jeans. A potted sapling stands at the right beside a white sack labelled 'Product of' in a faded print, and another white sack lies in the centre. The scene suggests a tree-planting moment, with the saffron-clad figures standing at the edge of the pit.
