Another person's hand, wearing a red thread bracelet, a silver bangle and a gold ring, extends the white object toward him. A second robed figure with white tilak-like markings is partly visible at the upper right. The setting is outdoors in warm sunlight.

He wears layered rudraksha malas around his neck and multiple rudraksha bracelets on his upper arms, a gold pendant on a chain, and a rust-brown cloth wrapped around his body. Red and white markings are on his forehead and white ash is on his shoulders and arms. Pink and white flowers are cupped between his palms in a gesture of offering. The a person cues are the dreadlocks, rudraksha malas and ornate gold pendant, but the identification rests only on appearance. A second person's orange-beaded necklace is partially visible at the left edge.2018-04-28April 28 20182018-04-28 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a seated person in a rust-orange robe, with a hand held palm-up showing a few small yellow grains. The figure wears multiple heavy rudraksha mala necklaces of large brown beads and a rudraksha bracelet on the wrist, with a finer bead mala looped over the lap. The background is blurred with warm daylight tones. Only the torso, arms and hand are visible, so no face is shown and no identity can be confirmed from appearance.2018-04-28 +1 copiesPhotograph of a seated group of shaven-headed men in orange-red robes and white forehead markings performing a ritual indoors. The foreground man, bare-chested with an orange-and-gold shawl across his shoulder, holds a small brass oil lamp in one hand and a brass bell in the other. Rudraksha malas hang on several men behind him, and white ash stripes mark their arms and chests. Small brass oil lamps and offerings sit on a cloth at lower left, with a water bottle nearby. Warm pinkish walls and gold pillars frame the hall. No clearly identifiable throne or a person cues are visible in the foreground, so the central figure is a priest-like participant rather than a confirmed a person.2017-02-10A bare-chested man with long dark hair and a short beard sits with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, eyes closed and smiling. He wears dense multi-strand rudraksha malas, ceremonial gold-bead necklaces, rudraksha bracelets and a gold ring, with a garland of pink flowers and green leaves draped over his shoulders. A vibhuti or kumkum mark and a pink petal sit on his forehead, and his body is dusted with white ash. Behind him a person in orange-red cloth stands at the edge of the frame against a pale sky and sand. Presentation cues are distinctive, so this is a probable appearance-based match for a person, shown in a devotional greeting or reception moment.2018-04-28Close crop of a seated person in a rust-orange saffron cloth, hands clasped in the lap, wearing multiple strands of brown rudraksha malas across the chest and rudraksha bands on both upper arms. Behind them, a silver-toned ornate surface and a leopard-print cushion. A small framed photograph stands on a silver side table at left, showing a smiling figure in orange robes with long hair. The face of the seated person is not shown.2018-02-27April 28 20182018-04-28A seated man in a rust-red sannyasi robe with gold border sits barefoot on sand, pouring liquid from a small steel cup with a spoon during an outdoor ritual. He wears long dreadlocked hair, a white and red tilak on his forehead, and multiple layers of rudraksha mala garlands across his chest and wrists and upper arms, plus a gold pendant. Two assistants sit beside him: one on the left in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala, and one on the right bare-chested with a black head wrap, rudraksha necklace and white ash marks. Scattered red and white flower petals, a bunch of bananas, limes, and a metal tray of flowers lie on the sand in front. The setting is a sandy shore with a pale sky and grass tufts behind.2018-04-28Close-up photograph of a person's right hand holding a polished silver handbell with a decorated base, the bell's handle wrapped in a gold-coloured band.
