A photograph of a padapuja ceremony on a stage. A seated man in orange robes sits on a gold throne decorated with red and yellow flower garlands and a green leaf garland, with his bare feet placed on a golden tray. A second man in orange robes kneels at the front, washing or honouring the feet with his hands. Silver oil lamps stand at both sides, and the table holds fruit, bananas, apples and brass bowls with offerings. A microphone stand is at the right, and a red-orange backdrop with an image of tree-like forms fills the background.

A red-and-orange backdrop with tree-like patterns fills the stage, with a microphone stand at right. The seated person wears an orange saffron robe draped over the shoulders and a red bindi on the forehead, with eyes closed. In front of the throne, a second person in an orange robe kneels on the throne platform, bending forward with hands at the seated figure's feet, apparently performing padapuja. Offerings in front include fruit such as apples, bananas and a pineapple, plates of food, brass vessels and a small lamp on the lower stage. Red-cushioned seats and a microphone stand are visible at the sides.2009-08-30Photo of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne (peetha) on a stage with a red-orange backdrop. The seated person wears saffron-orange robes and a red bindi, and is being garlanded with long strands of red and yellow flowers by a standing attendant in orange robes who leans in from the left. Silver lamps and bowls of fruit and offerings sit on the stage in front, and a microphone stand stands at right. Only two physical people are visible. Their appearance does not clearly support identifying the seated figure, so the role is described as a seated guru receiving garland from an attendant.2009-08-30August 30 20092009-08-30July 17 20082008-07-17
