A night-time outdoor procession of women and girls in orange saffron saris and blouses, many wearing rudraksha malas and white vibhuti or tilak on their foreheads. Several carry round brass plates of offerings, including piled grains, fried snacks, fruit and dried seeds, while others hold small plates and lamps. Hair is worn in tight buns and some have flowers. They walk along a stone-paved path beside a red wall, with more participants in white and yellow behind them and a stray dog on the right.
