Men in white shirts, kurtas and checked shirts walk among women in pink, purple and maroon saris and headscarves, and several men wear orange and saffron turbans. Behind them, decorated floats and palanquins with yellow and gold canopies and red and orange flags move along the road, and roadside barriers line the route. Hand-painted banners and signs stand along the street, and one man in the foreground raises his arm holding a phone or small object.
