Three men stand on a raised metal platform behind it, their hands joined in anjali mudra. The man at centre holds a flame. Tiered seating with more people is visible in the dim background to the left, and a metal staircase runs along the right side. This appears to be a Rudrabhishekam ritual, and the three figures are priests or devotees rather than a clearly identifiable individual.2014-09-22 +1 copiesNight photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga wrapped with a garland of yellow and red flowers, with silver horizontal tripundra bands marked on its face. Behind it, on a raised metal platform reached by a steel stair, three priests perform a ritual: the central one in orange-brown robes holds a bell and ritual object, while the two flanking priests in white dhotis with white forehead markings sit with hands folded in anjali. The shaved-headed priest on the right wears white clothing, and none of the three is identifiable as a person from appearance. A faint purple logo appears in the corners. Scene suggests an abhishekam or rudrabhishekam at night.2014-09-22 +1 copiesA large black Shiva lingam stands in the foreground, its base wrapped with silver bands and encircled by a garland of yellow and red flowers.
