Night-time outdoor gathering under bright floodlights, with a very large crowd seated on green mats across an open ground. In the foreground, several men in white dhotis and shirts sit playing drums, including a large barrel drum with a red and yellow body, and a long wind instrument. Behind them rows of attendees in white and cream clothing fill the space, with some saffron-robed figures at the right edge. Strings of lights and a tented stage area are visible in the background.
