A large blue-skinned statue of Lord Shiva stands on a raised platform inside an orange wire mesh enclosure in an outdoor street square. The murti holds a golden trident and has a snake draped over the trident arm, a white wrap billowing behind, and a tiger or animal-skin style garment at the waist. A golden Nandi bull sits beside the base, and the platform is strewn with flowers and offerings. Behind are white temple spires, golden lion statues on pedestals, a leafy tree, and a few distant passersby. No living person is clearly in the foreground apart from a small figure seated near the left edge.
