A crowded indoor hall at an evening convention, with many people seated and standing across the floor under strings of triangular pennant flags and hanging banners. In the foreground a man in a pale blue turban and white garment, seen from behind with a red-orange garland, stands beside a man in a white shirt with an ID badge who raises one hand in greeting. Other attendees wear white, saffron-orange and yellow clothes, and a man in the lower right wears an orange shawl and a red forehead band. Light fixtures and metal poles are visible overhead and along the sides of the hall.
