Outdoor photo on a dirt road of a padugai padha yathrai procession. Men in white dhotis and white shirts, wearing beaded necklaces, stand together; a man in the centre holds a framed printed portrait of a seated figure in orange robes with a long garland, labelled with a Tamil name. Another man holds a multicoloured umbrella with a red, green and orange canopy and fringed edges over the group, and one man holds a red flag with a black emblem. A blue jeep with a banner reading SRI NITHYANANDARIN PADUGAI PADHA YATHRAI THIRUCHANGODE is parked at right. Two women in white saris stand at left beside a thatched hut and a low building with bare dirt and sparse trees behind.
