A birthday celebration in a hall with a green carpet and floral-printed wall panels. A seated figure in orange clothing and an orange turban is garlanded with yellow and white flower necklaces and surrounded by flower heaps and balloon sculptures, with a smiling young man in white and orange shawl kneeling beside him. A man in a white shirt reaches toward a bunch of colourful balloons while women in white saris and a small child stand nearby. A large banner behind shows a mountain image and Tamil lettering.

January 12 20072007-01-12January 12 20072007-01-12A seated figure in an orange robe and orange headwear with a garland of yellow and white flowers receives padapuja, as a man in white dhoti and shirt kneels on the green floor washing or offering to the feet on a tray. Brass trays and plates with flower petals lie on the floor, and garlands of pink and green flowers sit beside the seat. Standing attendants in white clothing, including women in white saris with gold borders, watch. Behind is a banner with Tamil text and a mountain image, and the seat is draped in white cloth. The rites suggest a padapuja ceremony at a satsang event; the seated figure has orange robes and a saffron headdress with a garland, and appearance cues are moderate, so identity is uncertain.2007-01-12January 12 20072007-01-12A photograph of a seated saffron-clad figure receiving honour at an indoor satsang hall with a green floor. A younger man in white with an orange shawl kneels at the right, and another standing man in white and orange stands behind. Background includes an orange-and-white patterned drape, a large banner with Tamil text and a mountain image, and a garlanded decorative stand.
