A street procession in an Indian town moves past multi-storey buildings. At the centre, a decorated ratha or palanquin draped in marigold garlands and gold fringe carries a figure in orange and white clothing beneath a golden canopy; a deity murti appears in the vehicle. A red tractor pulls the float, and red flags flank it. Crowds line the road and balconies, many people holding up phones to photograph. Uniformed police stand at the right, and a shop front shows a computer institute sign and a D.T.P. banner.
