A woman in a teal blouse and cream-and-gold sari stands at the counter on the left, reaching toward a display of rudraksha malas and small items. Men in white shirts and white dhotis stand at the table on the right; the man in front holds up a glossy card showing a smiling bearded figure in an orange-and-yellow turban and saffron robe. Behind the table are more books, cards and boxes, with a bright orange-and-red shrine display and vehicles in the background. Two people hold no identifiable ceremonial role here; the saffron-robed figure appears only as a printed card, not as a physical person.2010-01-21February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesArticle - November 26 20062006-11-26A photograph of a crowded outdoor tented event at dusk under a white and red draped canopy.
