Outdoor photograph of a row of saffron-robed sannyasis standing on a red-tiered stepped platform with white metal railings beside a red multi-storey building. Several wear orange dhotis and shawls, rudraksha malas and prayer beads; some stand with palms pressed together in anjali, others hold their hands at their sides. Potted plants line the red steps, and a second group of people sits in orange on lower tiers. A white metal staircase leads up to a raised platform with kalasha-like vessels.

Several people have white and grey sacred ash markings on their foreheads, arms and bodies, and wear beaded necklaces, rudraksha-style malas and white headbands. One man at the front holds a tall yellow pole, and a bare-chested man in a rust-red garment plays a round drum. Behind them stand black stone shivalingam bases on a red wall with chain-link fencing and green plants. A young person in orange carries a bundle of yellow flowers. The procession appears to be a temple or ashram ceremony with drumming and ritual attire.2018-01-01
