A photograph of a seated group performing a lamp ritual indoors on a wooden floor. In the foreground a man in a white sleeveless vest sits cross-legged before a brass tray holding lit oil lamps and offerings, with a brass plate nearby. Beside him a man in white dhoti-style clothing sits with a small child on his lap. Behind them rows of devotees in white and cream clothes sit on the floor, and several have small lit lamps before them. On the right a woman in a cream sari sits near a large framed picture of a deity. Mats, a purple cloth and a small bell lie on the floor in the foreground.
