A black stone statue of a seated Dakshinamurthy form, a teacher figure, sits in a shrine framed by an ornate silver arch. The statue wears a bright pink cloth draped over its shoulders and lower body, a rudraksha mala around its neck, and a white tripundra mark with a red dot on its forehead. Its raised hands hold ritual objects, and it rests on a dark pedestal. Garlands of yellow, red, green and purple flowers hang on both sides of the arch. Trees surround the outdoor shrine, and a red-painted base is visible in front. The Kannada inscription on the plaque reads Dakshinamurthi Sannidhi. No living person is visible, and the statue is a depiction of a deity rather than a person.
