A smiling man with long dark hair and a full beard stands before an ornate gold-leaf throne with carved scrolls, lion-like figures and a pierced lattice panel, with deep red drapes behind. He wears a rust-orange cloth wrapped over his body with a knotted sash, a red forehead mark, and a gold chain necklace, and he raises both palms outward in greeting. A white carved silver armrest appears at the right edge.
