A large old banyan tree dominates an outdoor compound with a sandy ground. Its wide, low branches spread horizontally and many hanging aerial roots drop down around a trunk-like cluster. Two tall grey metal poles stand in the foreground near a raised circular stone platform. Several stone-edged circular platforms surround the tree base, and a small dark opening is visible among the roots at right. A black marble-looking slab lies in the lower foreground. No people are visible.
