A ritual altar set up in front of gold curtains. Behind it stands a large printed portrait of a bearded man in a red-orange turban and orange robes, wearing gold necklaces and a garland of marigolds and pink flowers, with one hand raised in blessing; the portrait is a depiction, not a physical person. A white sign reads KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO. On the altar, covered with a green embroidered cloth, are two small deity murti decorated with orange marigold garlands, a central gold-coloured murti or decorated object with flowers, brass plates holding turmeric-yellow offerings, a small bowl of kumkum, incense sticks, a lit oil lamp and a brass cup. No people are physically present.
