A dark-stone deity murti, apparently Lakshmi, stands centred in an alcove decorated for Diwali. It wears a red and gold silk sari with a metallic silver-gold border and a tall silver-gold crown. Multiple layered gold necklaces, large round earrings and jewelled hand ornaments adorn the figure. Garlands of orange marigolds and tricoloured yellow, green, red and white flower strings hang around it. Flanking banners show blue, red and yellow geometric patterns with flowers and white doves. Gold tinsel hangs overhead. No people are visible.2024-11-01December 11 2022 sripuram2022-12-11December 11 2022 sripuram2022-12-11December 11 2022 sripuram2022-12-11A dark-stone deity murti, identified as a Lakshmi form by its iconography, is seated in a gilded arched shrine against a magenta cloth with gold motifs.
