A shrine set up in a white wooden-walled room for a Kalabhairava Jayanti ritual. In the centre sits a seated figure wrapped in an orange-red turban and orange robe, wearing a long green-and-white bead mala and orange-and-white flower garlands, holding a trident, with a shaded-faced statue beside him. Such figure is a statue or depiction rather than a physical person in the scene; no living people are visible. To the left, another seated figure in a red turban and red-orange robe with orange and marigold garlands sits behind a table covered in gold cloth. Behind the centre figure hang gold curtains. On the right wall a framed picture of a figure holding a trident is garlanded with marigold and green beads. The altar holds a red cloth with fruit baskets, bananas, pineapple, a sheet of food, purple flower petals, brass oil lamps, a conch shell and a sign reading KAILASA Guadeloupe Goyave, with a Nataraja bronze and a plant nearby.
