A black stone murti of Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, sits seated in a niche framed by an ornate gilded arch with floral and peacock-like carving. The murti wears a yellow chrysanthemum garland, a magenta and gold-bordered cloth draped over its seat and shoulders, red roses at its sides, and a red-and-gold jewelled necklace and face ornaments; a vertical tilak marks its forehead. Small white flowers lie on the stone platform below, a leaf sprig rests against its side, and a small plate with ash or offerings sits on the red floor. Walls are painted gold and a wall socket with wires is visible at left. No people are present.
