Rows of men in white kurtas and dhotis sit cross-legged on mats, many with heads bowed or turned toward the front. A bright stage light and a video camera on a tripod stand at the back. Large framed portraits of a woman with long dark hair hang on the walls, and orange-and-white banners hang from the ceiling. At the far right edge, a single figure in white with an orange shawl sits apart near the wall. A few audience members wear rudraksha malas.
