A photograph outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots. On the right, a black stone statue of a seated figure, draped in white cloth with a red border and decorated with yellow and red marigold garlands, sits on a dark pedestal set in red-painted rock. In the foreground, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and matching garment, wearing a white-and-marigold garland and with long hair, holds a brass lamp or aarti vessel toward the statue with a lit flame. A small shivalingam-like stone with a marigold garland sits at the statue's base. The ground is bare sandy earth.

Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots, a man in an orange saffron robe with a white garland performs aarti with a lit flame near a dark stone sculpture of a seated sage draped in white cloth and garlanded with yellow, red and white flowers. A small shivalinga-style stone with a yellow flower garland sits on a red-painted base in the foreground, and sandy ground and palms are visible beyond.

Outdoors under a large banyan tree with sweeping aerial roots, a man in saffron-orange dhoti and a bare upper body, wearing a white flower garland, holds a lit oil lamp toward a dark stone statue. The seated statue, dressed in white cloth with a red border, wears thick garlands of yellow, red and white flowers and a white headpiece. A small black stone object with marigold garlands sits at its base on a brick platform. Sandy ground and distant trees and huts fill the background. The man's face is not visible, so no identity is claimed.

Outdoor shrine scene under large banyan trees. A figure in saffron-orange robes with long, swept-back dark hair and a garland of orange and yellow flowers stands on a dark tiled platform, raising a brass bell or lamp toward a small shrine. The shrine is decorated with a red-orange floral mound and marigold garlands, with a deity murti at its centre and an oil lamp or incense before it. Two other people in white and orange stand to the right with hands joined in prayer. A white stone bench and a flower-decorated puja area lie to the left. The figure appears to be performing aarti or puja at the shrine.

Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots, a bare-chested man in orange saffron cloth wrapped at the waist stands on a sandy path with a rudraksha mala around his neck, hands folded before him. To the right, a large dark stone sculpture of a seated deity is draped in an orange cloth and garlanded with purple, yellow and red flower garlands, with a tall silver pillar beside it. In the foreground, a red-smeared rock-shaped stone with a small brass lamp and offerings rests on a raised platform, and a stone bench sits near the tree's base. The scene reads as a pada puja setting, with the standing devotee at the sculpture's side.

Red-painted stone and a small oil lamp or offering dish with a flower garland sit at its base, and a silver-grey serpent-like form curves along the ground near the shrine. A photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A standing man in orange saffron clothes with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a white cloth on his left arm stands on a concrete path with palms joined in anjali, facing a black stone statue. The seated black stone statue, dressed in an orange cloth with garlands of marigolds and an orange head wrap, sits on a dark pedestal beneath a green draped canopy and an ornate silver arch. The pedestal and surrounding base are smeared with orange-red kumkum, and a small brass lamp sits nearby. A plain placard stands on the stone base. Earthen ground, a low wall and a concrete platform complete the scene.

Outdoors under a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots, a standing man in an orange saffron wrap and shaved head faces a large black stone sculpture of a seated figure draped in orange cloth with a red-and-orange headwrap and a long garland of white, yellow and purple flowers. The sculpture sits on a black carved pedestal, and the base beneath it is smeared with red-orange pigment. A small brass lamp sits on a stone platform in front of the base, with a paved path and low stone platforms around the tree. The man appears to be performing a devotional offering at the idol.
