A night-time ceremony in a small open-air setting. A man in a saffron-orange turban, orange robe and a long multicoloured flower garland holds a brass lamp and a small silver bowl, with a bell-like object in his hand, while performing the rite. Around him devotees stand with palms pressed together in anjali. Men wear white shirts and dhotis, and women wear cream and white sarees with gold borders. A young boy in white wears a rudraksha mala. Strings of white flowers hang at the right edge, and a canopy of green leaves is above. The figure in saffron has a turban and garland, but no clear distinctive ceremonial cues beyond the garment, so identity is uncertain.

Night-time outdoor photo of a group gathered on dry ground under a bright floodlight. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a rudraksha mala and a red-brown wrap stands at left, smiling. Beside him, a tall figure with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange dhoti and matching ornate shawl, with a rudraksha mala and a large gold-toned pendant necklace, gesturing with an open hand toward the man at left. At far right, a monk-like man in orange robes with a red-bordered shawl stands with arms folded. Around them are men in white ritual clothes and a few in shirts.

Night-time outdoor ritual under a decorated cloth canopy with a striped red-and-white mat underfoot. At the centre, a man in an orange robe and bright orange turban wears a long garland of white flowers with multicoloured strands and holds a small brass bell and a lit oil lamp, leading a group. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and white saris stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. A woman in white sari and gold necklace stands near the centre, and a woman at right holds her hands in anjali. Strings of white flowers hang at the right edge beside a bamboo frame. Several onlookers are visible in the background.

A night photograph of a procession at an outdoor event. A smiling man with a shaved head wears a flowing saffron-orange robe and is receiving a small brass plate or offering from a woman in a white sari with a gold border and a long braid. Garlands of white and yellow flowers are tied to the offering. Behind them, men in white kurtas and dhotis stand near red and orange flags, one man wearing an orange shawl. On the right, a person applauds with hands clasped, and white jasmine flowers are visible in the foreground. The scene appears to be a welcome or aarti-style offering.

Outdoor photo at dusk under a deep blue sky with palm trees behind a crowd. A central figure in an orange saffron robe and matching orange turban, with long swept-back hair, smiles and reaches toward a small clay pot, wearing a long garland of green leaves with pink and orange flowers. Beside him a young man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl leans in, and a boy in an orange shirt looks on. Men in white shirts and dhotis, some with orange shawls, stand around, one wearing a rudraksha-style necklace.

Night-time outdoor photo at a ritual site on bare ground strewn with straw. A row of people stands in the foreground. On the left, a man in a striped shirt stands with arms folded beside a man in white dhoti and shirt. At centre, a figure in a bright orange-red saffron wrap and rudraksha mala stands with hands together, and a man in orange robes and a mala stands beside him. On the right, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti holds a tray or vessel and another man in orange with a rudraksha mala stands nearby. Several people in white clothes stand behind them under a strip of multicoloured prayer flags. Bright flash glare sits on the centre.

Night outdoor ritual on bare red earth. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange turban stands barefoot, wearing a multicoloured flower garland and a gold necklace, holding a coconut in one hand and a small vessel in the other while a trident (trishul) is planted in the ground before him. Around him, a crowd of men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and white saris stand close, some wearing rudraksha malas; one older man in white wears a red-and-yellow circular badge. A man at left in white holds a silver tray of flowers and offerings. A man at right wears an orange shawl. Banana leaves and a green canopy are visible at upper right.

A photograph of a hall at night with tube lights and hanging decorations. In the foreground a smiling young man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe over a pink undershirt and has a red bindi. Behind him a group of young men in white kurtas and dhotis with orange shawls move through the room, some barefoot, one with a shaved head. Festive streamers and blue-and-red cloth hang from the ceiling. The scene appears to be a celebratory gathering.
