July 29 20182018-07-29Photograph of two women in a temple-style hall performing a staged dance or ritual scene. A standing woman in a yellow-orange dhoti-style costume with a blue shawl, rudraksha bead bracelets and necklace, and hair in a bun holds her hands together at her chest while looking down toward a woman kneeling on a red mat in front. The kneeling woman, in yellow-orange silk with a white shawl and gold necklace, has her palms pressed together in namaskar. A woven bamboo basket sits on the red floor between them. Behind them stand a golden lion sculpture, a carved wooden pillar with a rearing lion motif, and stone columns with a tasselled red-and-gold canopy edge at top.2018-07-29July 29 20182018-07-29August 19 20182018-08-19August 03 20182018-08-03November 24 20182018-11-24October 11 20182018-10-11August 23 20182018-08-23December 02 20182018-12-02August 14 20182018-08-14November 14 20182018-11-14November 25 20182018-11-25
