Most wear white dhoti-style clothing with gold borders, and several have orange or saffron shawls draped over them; some have eyes closed and hands resting at their sides. Ornate golden shrines and deity murti are visible in the upper left background, with a few standing people in orange and white near the far right. White walls and metal ceiling beams frame the hall.2015-09-11November 21 20112011-11-21A photograph of a large hall where thick rows of devotees lie prone on striped mats and blankets on the floor, heads bowed forward and arms outstretched, many in white kurtas and dhotis, others in coloured shirts such as red, teal, yellow and orange. Glass cases and red-cushioned chairs line the back of the room. Many devotees are visible, with several dozen lying in rows across the floor.2011-11-21Many devotees lie on their backs on red-and-white striped mats across a hall, resting or relaxing. Most wear white kurta or shirt-and-trouser clothing; one wears a blue t-shirt, another a striped blue shirt and grey trousers, and one a light blue shirt. Several have name badges on their clothing. Water bottles, dark backpacks and bags are placed among the mats, and a glass-and-steel pillar line runs along the back of the hall. No deity, throne or a person figure is visible in the frame.2011-11-30June 04 20092009-06-04A group of devotees sit cross-legged on striped mats in a bright hall during a puja. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts, with white sacred marks on their foreheads, sit in rows. A man in a brown patterned shirt sits in the centre with palms pressed together in prayer, and a young man in a striped green shirt nearby also holds his hands folded. Boys in casual shirts sit in the foreground beside small brass plates, bowls and offering trays. Red curtains, white chairs and a glass display cabinet holding deity figures line the back of the room, and a few people sit on chairs near the wall.2012-04-03A large hall with cream tiled floor and orange curtains shows a crowd of many participants kneeling and bowing forward with foreheads touching the floor, in a prostration posture. Most wear white tops with light trousers, while others wear blue, yellow, green and teal clothing. Several stacks of folded striped mats and bedding are stacked along the left wall. A few people in the background stand near shelves. No identifiable a person figure is visible among those kneeling; the scene reads as a group pranam or prostration during a retreat-style gathering.2010-02-20
