The left monitor shows a grid of live video feeds of seated audiences in various venues, and one feed shows a figure in orange and red clothing with rudraksha-style beads seated on an ornate silver throne with a microphone. The right monitor displays a white card with red text reporting statistics for the broadcast. Physical people are only partially visible at the far right edge of the room, so the count is uncertain but small.2011-01-29A photograph of two monitors on an orange-draped table inside a hall with striped fabric ceilings and hanging colourful tassels. The larger monitor shows a video-conference grid of many small live feeds of groups of people seated in rooms, some in front of decorated altars. In one tile a figure in orange robes with a mala sits on an ornate silver-and-white throne beside brass lamps, with a microphone before him. A smaller adjacent monitor displays a white card with counts of countries, places and viewers. A reflection of a person in orange on the large screen's glass is visible at right. The screen-grid participants are depictions on a monitor, not physical people in the room, so the physical count is limited to the reflected figure.2011-01-29A flat-screen monitor on an orange draped table shows a Vidyo video-conference grid of several remote sites. Tiles show seated audiences on mats and in rooms, a decorated altar with flowers and a garland-draped setting, and a central tile of a figure in orange and saffron robes with a rudraksha mala seated on a white ornate throne with a kalasha-style arrangement before him. A laptop beside the monitor displays a white card reading Places 445 and Viewers 2010. In the blurred background, a person in white clothing sits near the stage. The central tile depicts a seated figure on a screen, and the appearance is consistent with a probable Swamiji depiction: saffron and orange robes, a rudraksha mala, and long swept-back hair, seated on a throne.2011-01-29A flat-screen monitor on an orange-draped table shows a Vidyo video-conference grid of multiple remote sites, with groups of seated devotees in white and colourful clothing in each panel. In the lower-right panel, a figure with long dark hair, orange robe and rudraksha mala sits on a cream cushioned chair before a brass lamp and ornate decorations, appearing to be Swamiji (probable), shown on a screen. Beside the monitor, a laptop displays the counters 'Places: 445' and 'Viewers: 2010'. Behind the screen, blurred seated devotees in white clothes occupy the hall.2011-01-29A photograph of a flat-screen monitor on an orange cloth-draped table, showing a Vidyo video-conference grid of multiple locations. Tiles show seated groups of devotees in white and coloured clothes, a decorated altar with flowers and a lamp, and a tile with a figure in orange and red clothing seated on a cushioned throne-like chair amid offerings. In the foreground, a large flat-screen television on an orange draped table shows a video of a seated figure in an orange robe with a white beaded mala, seated on a white ornate throne with pink cushions, beside a screen of people sitting on mats. Smaller monitors flank it, and one shows a sign reading No. of Places: 400 and No. of People: 1700. Several people are seen partly in the lower foreground, mostly as heads and shoulders. The video figure is shown on a screen, so it is a depiction rather than a person present in the room.2011-01-29Photo of a satsang hall where several flat-screen monitors on an orange-draped table show a live video feed. The largest screen, a VU monitor, displays a grid of six video panels: priests and devotees at shrines, and in the bottom right a man in a pink turban and pink robes seated before an ornate golden backdrop with a red cushion. Another screen on the left shows a similar figure in pink against a golden arch. Video cameras on tripods stand beside the table, and behind them seated devotees in saffron, pink and green saris sit on mats in a large hall with red curtains and a golden shrine. A purple and gold cloth with printed Tamil-style lettering hangs over the table edge.2011-02-21A photograph of a flat-screen monitor on an orange-draped table, showing a Vidyo video-conference window with a grid of smaller video feeds. Feeds show groups of people seated on floors and mats in rooms with red, yellow and pink décor, altar-like arrangements, a lit lamp and a decorated Christmas-style tree. One feed shows a figure with long dark hair, orange-red beaded garlands and a rudraksha-style necklace seated on an ornate cream chair in front of a gold-coloured altar, which could be a depiction of a person but identity is uncertain from the image alone. On the right, a laptop displays a white panel reading Places: 445 and Viewers: 2010. Blurred seated attendees in white and orange clothing fill the background.2011-01-29A photograph of a monitor wall in a tented hall showing a live satsang feed. The large central screen is divided into nine tiles of groups seated in meditation, with a sign reading HOUSTON on one tile. On the right tile a woman in an orange sari with a red-and-gold sash sits in a meditative posture on an ornate golden throne, and in the foreground a plain cloth with pattern rests on an orange-draped table. Smaller monitors on the left display additional feeds, and a camera rests on a tripod. Ceiling fans and draped fabric canopy the room.2011-02-20February 28 20112011-02-28 +1 copies
