Close photograph of a ritual offering being prepared for a puja. A large polished silver thali with scalloped edges holds small silver bowls and cups, a red apple, a silver conch-shaped vessel and a flickering oil lamp. A woman's hand, wearing bangles, lifts a small lit lamp above the tray. A pink lotus and white flower petals rest on a gold-embossed tray at right, beside an orange cloth. Partly visible hands and a white garment appear in the background, and the rest of the scene is softly out of focus.
