A long-haired man seated cross-legged in a white dhoti and a gold-bordered shawl wears a dark rudraksha mala with a gold ornament and a yellow flower in his hair, eyes closed and hands in a mudra. Beside him a younger man in a white kurta sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Standing figures in white clothing are behind them. In front lie brass vessels, a kalasha-style pot, a bowl of pink and yellow flowers, a small brass lamp and a white-draped low table at right. Swamiji candidate (probable): the seated long-haired man wears a rudraksha mala, gold ornament and shawl, consistent with an appearance-based cue, and is leading the ritual.2005-01-24
