A seated woman with swept-back dark hair, a white tilak, a long red-and-yellow marigold and rose garland, gold bangles and a red-and-gold sari with a leopard-print cloth on her lap places her hand on the head of a man kneeling before her. He wears an ochre-brown kurta and bows his head. Behind them a standing woman in white clothing with a rudraksha-style mala and beaded necklace watches, beside a golden ornamental object draped in purple and garlanded with flowers, and a white cloth-covered vessel sits on the floor. This is a blessing or initiation moment; the seated figure is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so no a person candidate is asserted.2014-04-13June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA woman in a rust-orange sari with a long garland of red flowers, white blossoms and yellow lemons places her hand on the forehead of a man in a white shirt with a red shawl, who kneels before her. A man in an orange garment with a rudraksha mala and a camera with a flash stands behind them, and another man in white dhoti with a gold border is at the left edge. A large fan, a small framed picture and a wall poster of a blue-robed figure surrounded by garlands are visible in the background. The scene resembles a blessing or padapuja-style reception in a home.2014-07-03September 28 20132013-09-28July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesA photograph of a devotional blessing in a small indoor room. A bare-chested figure in a red-and-orange dhoti-style wrap with a rudraksha mala draped across the chest and neck is raising a hand toward the forehead of a young man in white who kneels, holding a red fruit in cupped hands. The figure has a long dark hair bun. Nearby, an elderly woman in a cream sari with a red and white flower garland and a rudraksha mala looks on, and a man in white with an orange cloth stands behind. On a table draped in orange cloth sit bananas, a plate of fruit, a small bowl and a white electric fan. Orange curtains and a framed picture appear at the right edge, and other devotees stand in the background.2014-07-04 +2 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial darshan on a red-cushioned seat beside a gold-painted panel. A long-haired man with a white forehead mark, wearing a red garment and layered gold and bead necklaces with rudraksha-style beads, bows his head while his hand rests on a woman's shoulder. In front, a short-haired woman in a brown top and orange shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Behind them, a woman in a white and gold sari with a gold necklace and a woman in a red sari hold white flower garlands or cloth and look on, with a few more women in colourful saris visible at the back. Green foliage decorates the left edge. The man shows strong cues of the a person appearance (long swept-back hair, rudraksha and gold ceremonial adornment), but the appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity.2016-05-11
