A bald man with a bare upper body in the foreground pours or presses a white substance onto the head of a seated, shaven-headed figure in saffron robes, who wears a rudraksha mala and a large garland of white flowers with red blossoms. A man in white dhoti and shawl with gold border and rudraksha beads stands at right. Another man in orange and a rudraksha mala stands behind, with a tilak and red bindi, and a further standing man in orange and gold garlands is at left. Some devotees are visible behind, and a rudraksha garland drapes the saffron-clad figure. The scene appears to be an abhishekam or anointing ritual with garlands, and the saffron-robed figure may be a person based on saffron clothing and rudraksha ornaments.2012-06-05
