In the foreground, two shaved-headed men in saffron-orange dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and orange beaded necklaces stand with their backs to the camera; one raises his arm toward the crowd. Ahead, a man in the centre wears a white and red garland and reddish-orange clothing, with another person beside him, while several people in white and red clothes stand on a balcony behind a corrugated roof. A sign in Tamil script reads 'தியானபீட கோயில்' (Dhyanapeeta Temple) with timings, and a small red-and-orange flag flies from a pole at left. Strings of lights and a colourful cloth canopy appear at the top edge.2014-07-03February 16 20072007-02-16February 07 20172017-02-07 +1 copiesFebruary 07 20172017-02-07 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph of a procession-style arrival on a red carpet under a large red banner with a smiling portrait of a man in saffron/orange headwear and robes, with Tamil text reading Nithyananda Dhyana Peetam. A bald priest bare-chested with rudraksha beads and a yellow-gold cloth stands in the foreground facing the scene. A robed figure in orange-saffron with a saffron turban walks at the centre among men in white shirts and dhotis, red shirts and a teal shirt, many with hands raised or gesturing. Banana leaves, flower petals on the carpet, a thatched roof and white walls frame the setting. A man in white with a sash and rudraksha beads is also visible near the centre. Several people in the crowd are partially visible at the edges.2014-07-01
