Many men in white dhotis and shirts sit on mats, several with white vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads, one man at the front-right with hands folded in namaste. At the back, a figure in white stands near a decorated deity murti of a bull (Nandi) under a colourful arched canopy, with garlands and a red pedestal. A bare-headed man in white stands near the centre-right. The scene appears to be a satsang or group gathering. No one in the frame is identified by appearance.2007-08-26November 02 20132013-11-02A large seated audience of men in plain white shirts and white dhotis fills a hall during a satsang-style gathering. Many wear sacred ash lines on their foreheads, beaded necklaces and name badges on their shirts. Most sit cross-legged on red floor mats in rows that extend toward the back of the room, while a few stand or sit near the rear. Carved wooden panels and a dark wooden door are visible on the right wall, and a large dark ornate figure stands near the upper right corner. A few men in the front wear white shirts with striped sleeves and display tilaks and rudraksha-style necklaces. The scene appears to be a formal assembly of devotees, with no clearly visible central figure identifiable as a person.2016-02-27 +1 copiesSeptember 22 20122012-09-22May 13 20122012-05-13A large seated audience fills a hall with red floor mats, many people in white dhotis and white shirts, some in saffron and orange robes, and others in colourful kurtas and saris.
