A narrow lane between a pale blue wall on the left and a tall yellow wall on the right, with a line of devotees standing on both sides with palms pressed together in namaste. Women in white saris with gold borders and red blouses stand in a long row, several with flowers in their hair, and an elderly woman in a white sari with a red border is in front. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand among them, and a man in a pink shirt in the foreground turns his head toward the camera. Small white marks dot the lane's center, and the sky is pale above the buildings.2013-06-23June 23 20142014-06-23June 23 20132013-06-23 +2 copiesDecember 30 20062006-12-30February 24 20072007-02-24A photograph of a line of about a dozen women and a few men standing in a single row on a dirt path at early morning, warm low sunlight behind them. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at the far left, and another man in a grey shirt stands at right. Thatched-roof huts, flowering yellow shrubs and a white van sit in the background.2011-01-16A long indoor hall with a tiled ceiling and ceiling fans, where a long queue of people stands in two lines separated by metal stanchions and chains. On the left, children and young women in salwar kameez and saris press their palms together in namaskar, including a girl in an orange top and a girl in pink. On the right, men in white shirts and white dhotis wait, with several holding folded papers and hands clasped. No deity murti, throne or ceremonial object is visible; the scene appears to be a darshan or registration line.2013-07-21A street scene where a line of devotees stands with hands folded in namaskar along a paved lane. Women in white and cream saris and a white kurta stand beside men in white shirts and white dhotis; one older man wears glasses and another man wears a grey shirt and trousers. A red and gold cloth canopy and banana plants decorate a doorway of a pale blue and pink building, and bicycles line the roadside. The scene appears to be a welcoming line for a visit to a home.2010-01-10October 02 20112011-10-02A long queue of devotees stands in a line down a polished marble-floored hall, moving toward the left. Most women wear white or cream sarees with gold borders, some in pastel and teal tones, and several hold folded cloths or small items. A man in a white shirt stands near the front right with his hand on his hip. A white sculpted figure is partly visible at the upper right, and a warm light fixture glows on the wall.2014-08-24June 23 20132013-06-23 +1 copiesMay 05 20152015-05-05
