A long-haired woman in the centre, with a white forehead mark, sits with eyes closed and hands resting near her chest. Nearby women with eyes closed and hands folded in their laps, some with tilak on the forehead. Edge of the frame shows more seated participants. No a person candidate is clearly visible in this crowd.2015-09-18A photograph of a group ceremony where devotees hold lit oil lamps (diyas) in a seated gathering. In the foreground, several women in white ritual clothes with rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings hold lamps toward the viewer. Behind them, rows of people wear orange and saffron garments and white forehead marks, some with beaded necklaces, while others sit with their hands raised. The setting appears to be a temple or ashram hall with a tiled floor and a small tray of offerings at lower left, consistent with an aarti or puja. No individual in the scene is clearly recognizable as a person; the visible figures are devotees and ritual participants.2014-09-16August 29 20142014-08-29November 07 20142014-11-07
