A photograph of many men seated on red-painted stone steps in rows, each beside a black stone shivalingam with brass vessels and small puja offerings. Most are bare-chested or wear white dhotis with yellow borders, many with rudraksha malas, sacred ash marks and sandalwood or ash on their bodies. A man in a white dhoti stands at left pouring or arranging items near the lingams, and devotees around the steps are seated in meditative or prayerful postures. Red flags fly in the background among trees. Several figures appear as a group ritual such as abhishekam or a shivalinga puja, with no visible figure presented as a distinctive central presence.2017-07-24July 24 20172017-07-24October 16 20162016-10-16May 24 20172017-05-24July 24 20172017-07-24A large group of devotees seated in rows on red-painted stone steps, each before a dark stone pedestal with brass vessels and small oil lamps. Most men are bare-chested, wearing white dhotis and rudraksha malas, some with vibhuti marks on their chests. Several hold small items or work at offerings, with flower petals scattered on the steps. Red and orange flags stand at the left and right edges, and a metal railing runs along the right side. A figure in orange robes sits near the upper centre. A man at the lower left wears a red-brown cloth and a white-clad man at the lower right is bald and bearded. Some participants have long hair or blonde dreadlocks. The scene suggests a group ritual session.2017-07-31 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27February 27 20142014-02-27February 27 20142014-02-27A photograph of many devotees seated across tiered red steps in an outdoor ritual setting, with rows of black stone Shivalingas on each step. Most men wear white dhotis and sit bare-chested with rudraksha malas, while many others wear saffron-orange cloths. Brass vessels, bells and small oil lamps sit on the steps, and several people hold conch shells or pooja items. Red flags rise along the stairway railing, and a stage screen with a logo stands at the upper left. The setting suggests a collective puja or abhishekam of the lingas.2017-08-14February 27 20142014-02-27May 29 20172017-05-29
