She wears an orange-saffron wrap over a leopard-print blouse, with a beaded necklace and hair in a bun. Before her is a silver-and-gold lingam or deity form draped with long garlands of red roses, white jasmine and yellow and purple flowers. Behind it stands a gilded deity murti with a golden crown and ornaments, flanked by gold-framed panels and brass lion figures on the altar. The setting suggests a temple puja or darshan.2018-12-20 +1 copiesSeptember 07 20122012-09-07A photograph of a standing figure seen from behind in an ornate temple-style stage set with carved golden wooden panels and a large painted deity backdrop. The murti is adorned with pink and yellow garlands, a cobra hood, rudraksha mala necklaces and jewelled ornaments. Brass lamps with oil stand near the base, and rose petals are scattered on the floor and cloth. A golden figure with garlands sits on a wooden stand at the lower left. The setting is a pillared temple hall with large windows. The man's face is partly turned away and his appearance does not clearly establish a specific identity.2014-06-06June 06 20142014-06-06 +1 copies
